Frequently Asked Questions

How much walking is there on the tour?

Our Downtown Food Tour includes about 1 mile of walking.  On the Cocktails Tour, we walk less than .5 miles.

How much food is served on the tour?

The Downtown Food Tour includes 6 tastings over 3 hours.  We find that this equates to a substantial lunch portion.  Our Cocktails Tour focuses primarily on the 5 drink tastes, but there are bites at all four stops, so it is equivalent to heavy appetizers and is a good start to the evening.

Are there drinks served on the food tour?

Our standard adult ticket for the Downtown Food Tour does not include alcohol, but upgrade to the drink package when purchasing your ticket, and you'll enjoy three cocktail pairings throughout your tour.

Where does the tour start and end?

Downtown Food Tours start near Coors Field and end at Union Station.  Cocktail Tours start inside Union Station and end at the Maven Hotel.

The exact meeting locations will be included in your ticket.

What's the best way to get to the tour starting location?

There are some street parking options and paid parking lots near the starting location for the tour.

You can also take a Lyft.  Get $5 off your first ride with our referral code: SAVORDENVER.

For summer tours, please be sure to check the Colorado Rockies schedule as our tours run near the ballpark.  This means that parking can be difficult on home game days, and extra time should be allotted to arrive to your tour on time.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We can accommodate vegetarians but are unfortunately unable to accommodate vegans, dairy-free or gluten-free guests on the tour.

Please be sure to include any food allergies when booking your ticket so substitutions can be arranged in advance.  We are unable to make last-minute or day-of substitutions based on food allergies as food is pre-ordered with our restaurant partners.

How many people go on the tour?

Our food tour groups include up to 14 guests.  Cocktail tours include up to 10 guests.  Private tours are available for groups of 6 guests and larger.

Are gratuities included for the guide?

No. If you felt your tour guide did a great job, please feel free to show your appreciation with a tip.  Standard gratuities in the service industry are 15-20%.

What should I wear on the tour?

We encourage guests to wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes.  Tours run rain or shine, so be sure to check the weather and plan to bring an umbrella or sunscreen depending on the day.

Yes. Each tasting stop will have a bathroom, which your tour guide will point out.

Are kids allowed on the tour?
